Corporate Hood Entertainment Inc. was started by Derek “Capo” Willingham in February 2004 and is based out of Jacksonville, FL. Known to most of his friends as Slim, he got the name Capo after starting Corporate Hood and showing how he can lead and keep his team first. Corporate Hood or C.H.E. started out as an entertainment company that did it all but after sitting down and thinking about what he wanted to do, Capo decided to turn it into a label. He got the name Corporate Hood Entertainment from growing up in a household where both his parents were business minded people but he still chose the street route and learned at an early age that in order to survive on the street, you have to grind. So he has that corporate side where he can relate to people and talk to people in that element but also the street side where he gets respect in all the hoods he has touched so far. With artist in New Orleans, LA…Dallas, TX…Rocky Mount, NC and Jacksonville, FL, C. H.E. has been growing the past five years and continues to grow at a fast pace. “I read books from Dame Dash, watched how him a Jay-Z built their empire. Watched how Cam’ron and Dipset just came on the scene out of nowhere. Followed other people like Russell Simmons and Diddy. I learn a little from all of these guys. I consider myself and have been called a Mogul in the making and I truly believe that."

“I think if we continue on the path that we are going, C.H.E. could be the next Roc-A-Fella or have the next movement like Dipset.” So with long sleepless nights in the office and the studio…out on the street grinding, Capo came up with this saying, Never Sleep…Stay Grinding…Always on Top.
